TAM Ballet presents Cinderella, a three-act ballet conceived as a brand-new original production of the company, which premiered during TAM Ballet’s inaugural season. This work marks a significant milestone in the company’s artistic journey, embodying from its very foundations its identity, vision and aesthetic research. Inspired by Charles Perrault’s celebrated fairy tale, Cinderella comes to life through the original choreography by Caterina Calvino Prina and the new music by Antonio Ignoto, offering an authentic and coherent interpretation of one of the most beloved stories of the classical tradition. Elegance and lightness alternate with moments of poetry and comedy, enriched by the lively scenes of the stepsisters and the stepmother, portrayed en travesti, which add rhythm and theatricality to the narrative. The scenic design, featuring either hand-painted backdrops or video projections, together with finely detailed costumes, plays a key role in defining the characters and immersing the audience in a magical fairy-tale world. Designed for audiences of all ages, Cinderella combines the strength of classical ballet technique with the timeless charm of the fairy tale, telling through dance a story of dreams, irony and hope, where a single night has the power to change a destiny.
