Pierpaolo Ciacciulli brings to TAM Ballet an international vision shaped by his experiences with some of Europe’s most renowned theaters, including the Vienna State Opera Ballet and Teatro alla Scala, as well as his career as a soloist with prestigious ballet companies. His versatility in classical repertoire, combined with a strong background in ballet pedagogy, offers the company a fresh and dynamic perspective. Pierpaolo Ciacciulli is a soloist dancer, classical ballet teacher, and choreographer. He began his professional training under the guidance of Teatro alla Scala étoile Liliana Cosi, later continuing his studies at the Vienna State Opera Ballet Academy, where he graduated under Valentin Onoshko, a master associated with the Vaganova tradition of St. Petersburg. During his academic years, he performed in major classical productions with the Wiener Staatsoper, including Swan Lake, Coppélia, Cinderella, The Nutcracker, and Sleeping Beauty. Throughout his career, he has danced as a soloist and principal dancer with leading European theaters, including the Vienna State Opera Ballet, Salzburg Landestheater, Berlin Deutsches Fernsehballett, Friedrichstadt-Palast Berlin, Theater Nordhausen, and Theater Vorpommern. In Italy, he has performed with Balletto del Sud, and in various productions at Teatro degli Arcimboldi in Milan, Teatro Lirico di Cagliari, and since 2017, regularly at Teatro alla Scala in Milan, participating in both opera and ballet productions. Alongside his stage career, he specialized in ballet pedagogy at the Universität der Künste in Berlin. Since 2017, he has been teaching classical technique and repertoire at the Accademia Ucraina di Balletto in Milan. He is also a frequent guest teacher at dance workshops and an international competition juror. He collaborates closely with Roberto Bolle’s “On Dance” project as a master teacher and has served as maître de ballet and stage director for Nicoletta Manni’s production “La Gioia di Danzare,” as well as a master for Roberto Bolle and principal dancers in the “Bolle and Friends” 2024 tour. Pierpaolo is the Artistic Director of “Danza in Val di Noto” and “Brianza Danza Festival,” and the founder of “Premio Vienna Danza.” From September 2024, he has been appointed as Artistic Director of the Dance School at Teatro Carcano in Milan and Deputy Director of the Accademia Ucraina di Balletto.
